Sorelle Vista Elite

Sorelle Vista Elite Crib | Bottles & Banter

As first time parents, we have been so completely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of baby products to buy and all the different style/brands. One thing we did extensive research on and were very picky about was choosing the crib. What we wanted was something durable that could potentially last through multiple kids (not trying to get ahead of ourselves here). A white, stylish design that fit well with our nursery design, but also would work for a possible boys room if that need ever arises. We wanted a convertible crib that could grow with our little kiddo. And we wanted to make sure it was still in an affordable price range. Enter: Sorelle Vista Elite.

As soon as we saw the Sorelle Vista Elite crib, we knew we needed to have it. This was one of the few times we immediately agreed on a baby product. Of course, our local store was out of stock and we wanted it right away. So we hopped in the car and drove an hour to a town we had never heard of just so we could pick up this beauty. What we didn’t anticipate is it’s massive size and the fact that it doesn’t easily fit in an SUV. If you are thinking about getting this crib, make sure you have a way to get it home. We were warned, but of course we didn’t listen. Nick said it would fit. Nick was wrong. After much disassembling and squeezing, we were on our way home.

Sorrelle Vista Elite Features

The Sorelle Vista Elite has many great features. Here’s a snapshot of what it has to offer:

  • Durability. Crafted from solid wood so you don’t need to worry about replacing after short use.
  • Convertible. This crib converts 4 ways. Use it as a crib, toddler bed, day bed, or full size bed. The choice is yours. It will grow with your child.
  • Dimensions. When assembled, the crib is 58.75 inches x 32 inches x 50.50 inches. It’s pretty sizable and become the focal point of the nursery. If you are looking for a larger scale option, this is the crib for you.
  • Design. We loved the white color, but you can also choose from vintage frost and espresso. The design is very cute and features an attractive arch style headboard. The footboard is also sloped down so you can easily pick up and put down your little one.

Trying Out the Sorelle Vista Elite

Our little girl hasn’t arrived it, so we had to get a little crafty to test it out. Like any good sport, our dog gave it a nice evaluation. It was easy to put him in and take him out (though I would imagine a small baby would be easier than a 40 pound dog). It was also obvious that there was plenty of space due to the large size of the crib. Knowing that we were able to use our dog to test it out and have everything stand up to his weight, we certainly feel comfortable about the sturdiness for a small baby.

This crib is priced at $399.99 at Babies R Us, which is where we got it. We also picked up the Nature Couture Soybean Serenity crib mattress and these super cute crib sheets made by Carter’s. I definitely recommend at least checking it out if you are shopping for cribs. We’ve been very happy with our purchase and love how it stands out in the nursery.
